EnterpriseWeb Collaborates with Wind River to Accelerate Deployment of NFV Solutions

Wind River has validated interoperability of EnterpriseWeb’s CloudNFV with Titanium Cloud

Glens Falls, NY, April 17, 2018 –EnterpriseWeb®, a leader in Digital Business Automation, announced it has selected Wind River Titanium Cloud technologies for its carrier grade platform to showcase and validate their Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) solution. The Titanium Cloud portfolio includes a commercial NFV infrastructure software platform that enables service providers to deploy virtualized services faster, at lower cost and with guaranteed uptime.

By validating and pre-integrating their offerings with products from the Titanium Cloud portfolio, including Titanium Core, Titanium Edge and Titanium Edge SX, companies can deliver optimized solutions that are ready for deployment in live networks to service providers and telecom equipment manufacturers (TEMs).

EnterpriseWeb has performed their testing and validation process as part of the Wind River Titanium Cloud ecosystem program dedicated to accelerating the deployment of solutions for NFV. Through the collaboration of industry-leading software and hardware companies, the Titanium Cloud ecosystem ensures the availability of interoperable standard products optimized for NFV deployment with the Titanium Cloud platform to help accelerate time-to-market for service providers and TEMs.

EnterpriseWeb offers a platform that simplifies the automation and management of complex distributed domains. EnterpriseWeb’s award-winning CloudNFV vertical solution delivers zero-touch network and service management. The Cloud-native solution provides a lightweight, multi-tenant, event-driven architecture for end-to-end lifecycle management of NFV and SDN-based services, which can run at the core or the edge. CloudNFV includes a standards-compliant domain model and a library of re-usable adaptors to jump-start Carrier Virtualization initiatives and accelerate time-to-value.

“We recently collaborated with Wind River at an ETSI NFV plugtest and the value proposition of offering a pre-validated solution with Titanium Cloud became clear”, said Dave Duggal, Founder and CEO of EnterpriseWeb. “We are excited to join forces with Wind River and its ecosystem partners to help service providers in their journeys to becoming digital businesses.”

“Service providers are in need of validated and market-ready end-to-end NFV solutions. To address this need, collaboration across the ecosystem is essential,” said Charlie Ashton, senior director of business development for Software-defined Infrastructure at Wind River. “We are partnering with leaders like EnterpriseWeb to create optimized, interoperable solutions for service providers and TEMs who are deploying NFV in their networks. Our Titanium Cloud products provide a foundation for carrier grade NFV infrastructure, and by leveraging other pre-validated NFV elements, service providers can quickly achieve their goals such as reducing OPEX while accelerating the introduction of new high-value services.”

The Titanium Cloud portfolio of virtualization software products are designed to meet the stringent “always on” requirements of the telecom industry. With Titanium Cloud as the NFV infrastructure software foundation, the telecom industry can rapidly introduce new services while ensuring the carrier grade uptime and strict reliability mandated by telecom networks. The Titanium Cloud portfolio is based on open software standards including Linux, real-time Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM), carrier grade plugins for OpenStack®, Data Plane Development Kit (DPDK), and accelerated virtual switching, all optimized for Intel architecture platforms.

About EnterpriseWeb

EnterpriseWeb® (www.enterpriseweb.com) is a leader in Digital Business Automation and is widely recognized as a pioneer in the NFV/SDN domain. The company ran ETSI NFV Proof-of-Concept #1 and showcased CloudNFV in a series of six award-winning collaborative Catalyst projects in the TM Forum. EnterpriseWeb recently won “Best NFV Interoperability” at Layer 123’s SDN & NFV World Congress (October 2017) for CloudNFV’s support of advanced multi-vendor, multi-VNFM, multi-Cloud and multi-VIM scenarios.

With CloudNFV customers can rapidly on-board all the elements of their use-cases across vendors, technologies and domains as re-usable software objects, which can be flexibly composed into “intent-based” Network Services. The 100% model-driven solution allows extreme automation of deployments and lifecycle management so CSPs can achieve new efficiencies and support new use-cases. CloudNFV is deployed in Tier-1 Telecom environments where it is accelerating the VNF onboarding process and delivering Zero-Touch Automation.

CloudNFV is based on EnterpriseWeb’s patented platform technology, which was designed from the ground-up to support complex, distributed, event-driven solutions.
